Keeta & Noble had four beautiful puppies on December 24th, 2018.
Keeta began to care for the pups immediately after each puppy was born. She is an absolutely wonderful mother. She is very calm and relaxed with the puppies. Since this is her second litter, she seemed to understand that she had to stay with the puppies and care for them all the time instead of being with the family in the main areas of the house. We spend a lot of time sitting with her in the whelping room to keep her company during this time where the puppies have to remain in a heated whelping room.
Keeta & Noble's puppies are one week old. Keeta watches over the puppies and observes us as we handle them, but is completely trusting of us as we assist with the care of the puppies. She is a very confident mom and very relaxed while we handle the puppies. She trusts us completely and has fallen asleep at times during the weighing process when we weigh each puppy daily and remove them from the whelping box for a few seconds. She sleeps with them, nestles them, and cleans them with much devotion. She seems to welcome when we help arrange them to nurse.
We have chosen a 'winter/holiday' theme for the puppies.

The boys: Frosty, Rudolph, and Cocoa
The puppies began the early neurological stimulation "Super Dog" program developed by Dr. Carmen Battaglia
The puppies are two weeks old. Their favorite activities ... nursing and sleeping! Keeta is absolutely wonderful with the puppies. She watches over them, sleeps with them, and cleans them with such devotion.
The puppies are just beginning to open their eyes and attempt to walk.
The puppies continue to participate in the "Super Dog" program, the early neurological stimulation for newborn puppies develvoped by Dr. Carmen Battaglia. They are exposed to classical music, Suzuki violin, children's music, and 'Puppy Sounds' throughout the day.

Keeta is being a fabulous mother to the puppies. She watches over them closely, cleans them and feeds them with much attention.
The puppies have all opened their eyes, are beginning to walk like puppies, wag their tails, and are attempting to play with their siblings.
They have all completed the 'Super Dog' program, an early neurological stimulation program. They have just begun potty training with the 'Ugo Dog', 'Piddle Place' imitation grass mats, and 'piddle pads'. Although our pups hear many sounds with our entire family including our adult dogs, the puppies listen to classical music, several 'puppy sounds' tracks, children's music, and a variety of other music throughout the day.
The puppies will begin to spend the entire day with us in the family room next week.

The puppies are five weeks old. They spend the day in the family room with our family and our adult dogs. All the adult dogs visit the pups often in the family room. Noble is very fond of the puppies, and enjoys interacting with them when they are in the family room puppy pen. They are all doing beautifully with using the Piddle Place and Ugo box. The puppies have had many of our family members visiting with them. Keeta enjoys showing off the puppies and also being showered with attention.
Keeta is beginning to share her puppies with our youngest dogs, Gracie and Mia. They enjoy entering the pen and interacting with them. Keeta tends to watch them closely to ensure that Gracie and Mia are being gentle with the puppies.
Noel had her 'hair' styled by our daughter Megan :o)

The puppies are seven weeks old. Keeta has done an excellent job teaching them that she does not wish to nurse them full time. They are quickly learning to eat the 'big doggie' food, although they favor the fresh goats milk from our Nigerian Dwarf goats. Keeta is quite gracious and still nurses them even though each of them have quite a number of teeth.
They are very reliable with the potty, and love to play with the 'big' dogs. They are all curious about our Doberman. They seem perplexed with her long legs when she stands since they are not able to reach her body or head unless she bends down for the puppies.
Keeta continues to be a wonderful mother to the puppies. She spends a lot of time with them. Keeta enjoys playing with the puppies on the agility equipment including the puppy slide and tunnels. She also engages with them with their toys. It is both amusing and sweet to see her interact with the puppies.
This pic was taken toward the end of the puppy play session. Noel rested her head as she explored the toy from the comfort of the tunnel.

The play session ended with all of them in the bed including Keeta.
The puppies are nine weeks old. They eat well, are very reliable with the potty, and love to play with the 'big' dogs. Keeta continues to be a wonderful mother to the pups. She spends a lot of time with them. They love to play on agility equipment. They all like toys, tunnels, empty cardboard boxes, and several motorized cars that we can move throughout their play area. Keeta encourages games of catch with her taking a toy or a paper towel cardboard roll, showing it to the puppies, and running away with the toy.
The puppies have been a true joy for us!

Noel is carried to bed by our daughter Megan. Noel is quite relaxed in her arms.
